Maidenhead Registry Office, Berkshire
When I woke up on the morning of Nyangi and Ignacio’s wedding and peeked through the curtains, I was greeted by sunshine—always a welcome sight. It was still a little cold and breezy, but for a March wedding, we couldn’t have asked for better weather. Most importantly, the rain stayed away, which always feels like a small victory on a wedding day!
This was a lovely local wedding for me at Maidenhead Registry Office, and as always, I arrived in plenty of time—perhaps even a little too early. But in my line of work, it’s always far better to be early and ready than rushing at the last minute. It also gave me a chance to take in the calm before everything began.
As guests started to arrive, the atmosphere quickly filled with warmth and excitement. There were lots of hugs, smiles, and those lovely in-between moments that really set the tone for the day. Although this was a ceremony-only package, it was exactly what Nyangi and Ignacio wanted—simple, meaningful, and focused on what truly matters. These shorter, more intimate celebrations are becoming increasingly popular for 2026, and it’s easy to see why.
Inside, the room looked beautiful, with soft tones of pink and purple adding a gentle splash of colour. Many of the guests wore stunning fascinators, which added a real sense of occasion and elegance to the day.
The ceremony itself was intimate and heartfelt, filled with genuine emotion. You could really feel the connection between Nyangi and Ignacio, and it was a privilege to capture those moments as they unfolded.
After the ceremony, we made our way outside into the gardens. Despite the slight chill in the air, everyone gathered happily, and it was the perfect setting for relaxed, candid photographs. These are always some of my favourite moments—natural, unposed, and full of joy.
A beautiful, simple wedding, full of love—just as it should be
